Ibrahim Kanneh

Managing Partner and Head of Chambers, Ibrahim Kanneh is a distinguished litigator and one of Sierra Leone's most respected legal leaders, with over fifteen years of experience in litigation, corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, governance, and dispute resolution. Called to the Sierra Leone Bar in 2010, he serves as Chairman of the General Legal Council — the statutory body that regulates the legal profession in Sierra Leone — and as local counsel to the Government of Sierra Leone in international arbitration before the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). He regularly appears before the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court of Sierra Leone, as well as administrative tribunals, commissions of inquiry, and arbitral tribunals.

• Local counsel to the Government of Sierra Leone in LCIA arbitration arising from a significant mining contract dispute.
• Advises multinational corporations, financial institutions, mining and energy companies, development organisations, and government agencies on regulatory, governance, and commercial matters.
